WELCOME TO TENDAYWISH.COM...

IT IS OBVIOUSLY OUR BAND'S WEBSITE.

Just thought I'd pass along a note.
The end of this year has plagued us with problems...
Personal tragedy, health problems and a variety of things. We have struggled to add new songs; we don't do the heavy rock thing-and really never have, so it's been hard just to find...songs.
Oh yeah...the live venues in the area have DRAMATICALLY dried up...and with six people, ya gotta have some room-that's just physics.
2019 will see us re-building a bit.  Things will settle down. A huge SNAFU lost a bunch of website material, so I need to spend some painful time re-building.  In a way, it seems silly since Facebook has become so huge during the years I have been maintaining this site-but I'll work to get more music and maybe some video up...but clunky web tools make that...well, annoying.
Hope to see you more in the coming year
Here's what's on the way...

Ten Day Wish is a band that started playing gigs between 1991 & '92. Known until EXIT STAGE LEFT until New Year's Eve 1998--when we flipped our banner over at midnight.
Sandy White (that's me) and drummer Tom Faulkner had played together in a country band--Second Wind--in the late 80's.  I met Tanya in '87 at one of those gigs in Great Bend.  We married in '89 and I moved to Wichita to take over the production director/mid-day host gig at KICT-95 on January 2nd of '90.  The job offer came so soon after our wedding, Tanya & I decided to stay away from live music; she had joined Tom & I singing with Second Wind.
Two years later, Tom asked us if we wanted to jam with him & a couple more players at his office.  So once again, we were in a band made of musicians from different cities.
Today...Tom has left, re-joined, and left again; I can't play guitar anymore--but Kelley is now my fingers.  I still sing and mix sound and all the tech stuff.  Tanya continues to be the Patron Saint of Small Animals and the Grand Vocal Priestess of the High Plains...and stuff.            Long-time member Steve Tankersley & Tanya along with Sandy do a more mellow, pop show as MIDDLE SISTER.  These shows are WAY different--but equally cool...
     See you at a show.
